She can provide ensembles ranging from an intimate duo or trio for quiet settings to a more upbeat 4+ piece group for parties, festivals and concerts. Liz plays a unique instrument known as the vibraharp (vibes), which has a very pleasant, soothing tone. Her playing style is melodic, lyrical and original. Liz also performs as a vocalist, singing standards and beautiful Brazilian bossa novas. She has been compared to Flora Purim, Bebel Gilberto and Suzanne Vega; her vocals are heart-felt yet understated, conveying the emotion of the lyrics with simplicity and style.

Nakama is a trio featuring traditional Japanese music with a modern twist. Koto, flute and percussion meld together to create an ambiance of peaceful elegance and beauty. Enjoy the soothing sounds of nature through the koto – reminiscent of falling water, the flute – like wind in the leaves, and light percussion – the distant rumbling of clouds. Tasteful, simple and gentle, the music will carry you to the mountains of Japan … and a world of tranquility and quiet contemplation.
